Currently taking names to be added to our waitiong list for White Bellied Caique hand-fed babies. These are the clown birds of the bird industry. They will amuse you for hours and are great for families, apartments and dormitories. Photos of the parents and past juveniles are posted above. Our babies will be well socialized; leg banded, and weaned approx. 10 to 12 weeks of age. Prices start at $900.
We are a very small, closed-indoor, aviary using multiple filtration systems, natural and full spectrum lighting, along with climate-controlled monitors. This limits contact with insects, wild life, climate changes, reduces blood borne pathogens and parasites that large outdoor aviaries will encounter.
Our brooders are Brinsea Brooders, from the United Kingdom. Maintaining the perfect temperatures is vial to a newborn baby chick. This insures proper digestion, and minimizes any unnecessary physical or emotional stress. This also gives our family more time to socialize with our babies.
The birds are feed a variety of fresh foods, organic mixed veggies, fruits, grains, seeds (No Sunflower), nuts, etc., which includes a Roudybush-pellet diet daily. This is the difference between a strong healthy bird that has been socialized and maintained in the best possible environment.
