- Pair of Vintage Jensen Q Series Horn Tweeter Drivers in Tampa, Florida For Sale

For sale here is a pair of what I believe are Jensen Q series horn tweeters from the xxxx/40s. From my research these are very rare I bought them in the xxxxs in the USA from a retired professional sound engineer who used them in the city theatre. They each have the suspension fittings and the screws are in the drivers to fit them. I removed them for the photographs but one is shown in place. There is no manufacturers? marking on them which I believe was not unusual for such items since the packaging would have had it. The only official marking is C ? xxxx visible on the back of one the other looks identical but has a label over the number. There are separate labels which have been affixed by the original users. Frequency response 1,600 ? 15,000 Hz and Voice Coil impedance 16 ohms and Field Coil 6 volts. They each have their original protective aperture bolts which have always been fitted to keep them clean and both horns are in good shape, not deformed at all and with debris gauze still in place. One of the horns has some rust around the rim. They both pass ohmmeter continuity tests with identical readings of 3.5 ohms Field Coil and 12.5 ohms on the Voice Coils. They are each labelled Voice Coil Z impedance 16 ohms and Field Coil 6 volts to energize. The black paintwork is missing in places from normal wear and tear but there is no evidence of any dropping or damage and they have been professionally packed.
