Cannondale Triathlon Bikes - Multisport 800 in Tampa, Florida For Sale
We had a couple of glorious triathlon seasons, and then life got more complicated and then another child was born, and before you know it, your $1,800 triathlon bike is covered with dust in the garage. We just don’t have the time to really use these bikes and I hate seeing them sitting lonely and hopeful in my house when I know that there’s got to be SOMEONE out there who would really love and appreciate these bikes. “His and hers” bikes – didn’t we look so cool? – but they don’t need to be sold as a set.
These bikes are race-ready. The 54cm bike has just had a complete overhaul/full tune-up and has new tires (Kenda Kaliente L3r Pro) and a new shifter. It has a Schwinn computer. The 56cm bike has brand new tires (CST Czar with matching blue stripe - note: photos were taken before these tires were put on). It has a Cat Eye Velo 2 computer. One men’s seat (Specialized Body Geometry), one women’s seat (Serfas ARC Dual Density Pro). We can put either seat on the bikes. They both come with Look clipless pedals and Syntace aerobars.
There were a number of things that sold us on these bikes. These are specially designed for the needs of triathletes, making it easier to transition from the bike segment into the run. It’s a bike you could do your first triathlon on, but it’s also a bike that you could win the Hawaii Ironman on. In fact, stock CAAD 4 Aero frames were used by athletes in the xxxx Olympic Triathlon in Sydney.
It’s been tough trying to find these bikes for sale. They seem to be a rarity these days. I’ve seen asking prices as high as $800.
We think that $600 is a great price for either the 54cm or the 56cm. Of course, this doesn’t include shipping if it is not staying local.
